IN THE BEGINNING…
Col_2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
The GODHEAD consists uniformly of GOD the FATHER (YHVH) GOD the SON (CHRIST JESUS-THE WORD), and the HOLY GHOST (HOLY SPIRIT – The Comforter). “THEY” are CO-ETERNAL, CO-EQUAL, INDIVISIBLE – SUBSISTING UNIFORMLY as ONE.
Joh_10:30 I and my Father are one.
Joh_14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
THE GODHEAD – THE FATHER
GOD has placed ALL of NATURE and the COSMOS as a CLASSROOM; OBSERVATORY; and a TEMPLE before us. We can perceive the GLORY of the GODHEAD in everything AROUND US; UNDER US, ABOVE US; BEFORE & AFTER; WITHIN, and WITHOUT.
Act 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
Act_17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.
GOD has made HIMSELF known to ALL MEN by the things of HIS CREATION. Though men know HE EXISTS and might infer that it was their duty to WORSHIP HIM, they do not glorify HIM as GOD, but bow before IDOLS of their own making and their IMAGINATION.
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Gal_4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
2Jn_1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
Heb_1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
THE GODHEAD – THE SON
Mat_1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
GOD was in JESUS CHRIST Reconciling the World to HIMSELF.
2Co_5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Luk_1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
Joh_10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
The SPIRIT gives DELIVERANCE from the POWER of SIN; QUICKENS into LIFE; gives JOY for SERVICE and WORSHIP; IMPARTS COMFORT; ASSURANCE, and INSPIRES PRAYER, COMMUNION and FELLOWSHIP with the GODHEAD.
Joh_3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh_3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
CHRIST is the WISDOM of GOD and is manifest to BELIEVERS through the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT. The FULLNESS of the GODHEAD dwells in CHRIST, not figuratively, but literally, for HE is both GOD and Man, the MANIFESTATION of the FATHER to us.
1Ti_3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
THE HOLY GHOST/HOLY SPIRIT
It is the Unspeakable >> JOY << of all those who are in CHRIST JESUS that no Condemnation remains to them, and that the Indwelling of the HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT does in the >> BELIEVER << what the CEREMONIAL LAW (Law of Moses) could never provide – SALVATION!
Through the HOLY SPIRIT/GHOST, CHRIST is:
- The WISDOM which is needful to GUIDE us;
- The ATONEMENT to Recompense for SIN;
- The MERIT by which a Sinner can be JUSTIFIED;
- The GRACE which is needful to SUSTAIN us in our TRIALS;
- The STRENGTH for Believers in the DUTIES of DAILY LIFE.
Gal_2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
1Co_15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
Act_15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Eph_2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Eph_2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
2Ti_1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

A BELIEVER’S INHERITANCE
1Jn_3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
1Jn_4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
1Jn_4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
1Jn_4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1Jn_5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
1Jn_5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.
1Jn_5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
1Jn_5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1Jn_5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
1Jn_5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
1Jn_5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
2Jn_1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
