CARNAL DECEPTION PART V SECTIONS G:1 – G:4

G 5 – APPENDIX #1 – JOY

G 6 – APPENDIX #2 – “…SEND STRONG DELUSION.”

G:6 Appendix #2 – Send Strong Delusion
2Th 2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

It is only through the influence of the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD that the Carnal Mind can be subdued and destroyed; but those who Willfully Resist and Grieve the HOLY SPIRIT must be ultimately left to the hardness and Blindness of their own Hearts. If they do not Repent and turn to GOD they will be lost.

Psa 81:11  But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.
Psa 81:12  So I gave them up unto their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

GOD Delights in Mercy and is Long-suffering, therefore a Gracious warning is always given prior to a sentencing to affect an opportunity for Repentance.

The HOLY GHOST
Joh 16:8  And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Reprobate Mind
Tit 1:15  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
Tit 1:16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate

Identification of the Alleged Professor of Christianity
Mat 7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
Mat 7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

“Fruit” (Characteristics) of a Reprobate Mind
Rom 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Rom 1:29  Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Rom 1:30  Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Rom 1:31  Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Rom 1:32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The above Scriptures explain that the Truth is not withheld from the Unbeliever. But often the Truth is rejected by individuals who have had the Truth Revealed to them but they preferred the Doctrines of men or Lies and Delusion.

Joh 5:37  And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
Joh 5:38  And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

It is the Work and Office of the SPIRIT of CHRIST to preserve Believers; they were given to HIM with this in view, and HE undertook to do it; and sensible people commit themselves to HIM, as being Appointed for that purpose; and this is the Work CHRIST has been and is employed in; and HE is every way qualified for it:

CHRIST has all power in Heaven and in Earth; instances of persons kept by HIM prove it; and there is such evidence of it, that Believers may be, and are persuaded of it and Knows HE is as Willing as HE is Able.  It is HIS FATHER’S Will that HE should keep them, and in that HE delights; and as HE has undertook to Keep them, HE is accountable for them; besides, HE has an interest in them, and the greatest Love and Affection for them; to which may be added, that the Glory of the FATHER, SON, and SPIRIT (the GODHEAD), in Man’s Salvation, depends on the Keeping of them.

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

What CHRIST Keeps them from is, from their Falling by Temptations, not from being tempted by Satan, but HE Keeps us from sinking under his Temptations, and from being devoured by him.

1Pe 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

CHRIST Keeps us from falling by sin, not from the being or commission of Sin, but from the Dominion of it, and from the falling into it, so as to Perish by it; and from falling into Damnable Heresies, and into final Impenitence, Unbelief and total Apostasy.

Joh 17:9  I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.

Joh 17:20  Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Joh 17:10  And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
Joh 17:11  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

Joh 17:12  While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Joh 17:13  And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

Joh 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
Joh 17:16  They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Joh 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Joh 17:22  And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
Joh 17:23  I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
