Joh 6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

Php_2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Joh 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
E. The Mercy & Grace of GOD
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
In the previous lesson we discussed how the sin of Adam (the sin of disobedience) and its Corruption and Penalty, the curse of death, was diffused through the World and to Adam’s progeny, Mankind – the Human Race, producing a race of Human Beings who are dead in sin without Spiritual Fellowship with their Creator, their GOD, as was originally established. After the sin of Mankind a Prophecy was revealed that a Messiah would come to Earth to Save Mankind from the Penalty of sin – the curse of death; from Spiritual darkness; from evil; from alienation from GOD; and from exile.
The Perfect Obedience of CHRIST
Heb 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.
The only way Mankind may be delivered from the Spiritual darkness and the Wrath of the Law is through JESUS CHRIST and only in the Way GOD has Purposed Salvation through HIM. CHRIST was Manifest to accomplish the Ordained Works of GOD on the Earth. Among the many mighty Works of CHRIST was HIS continuing and Perfect Obedience to HIS FATHER. Before JESUS CHRIST came to Earth HE had: to lay aside the Effulgence of HIS Glory; then to come to Earth to do the Ordained Works as HIS FATHER had Divined and Directed; to Effect HIS Incarnation; to participate in HIS Birth; to Perform HIS Ministry; to Demonstrate HIS FATHER’S Love; to Finish HIS Ordained Works; to Suffer in HIS Death; to Triumph in HIS Resurrection, and to Effect HIS Ascension to HIS Throne to Effect Salvation, Redemption and Effectual Grace; that HE might destroy the devil and the iniquitous Works of the devil which are all forms of iniquity and evil including death. Evil is all that is unholy, corruptive, sinful, and Anti-christ. See >> WORKS OF CHRIST << for a compendium of the Works of CHRIST.
Psa 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
CHRIST Came To Show The Way
Joh 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
The Ministry of CHRIST included Preaching, Teaching and Demonstrating the importance of Obedience to the Commandments and the Will of GOD. This was the most important element of the Principles and Precepts that HE taught; the first and foremost Commandment which is to Love the LORD your GOD with all of our Heart, Soul, Mind and Strength which is synonymous with Obedience.
Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
The Beginning of HIS Ministry
CHRIST went to John the Baptist to be Baptized before HE began HIS Trial of Temptation in the Wilderness and before HE began HIS Ministry. John was reluctant to perform the Baptism because he felt inadequate; he forbade CHRIST, he told CHRIST that he needed to be Baptized by HIM. John meant no harm but this was a form of temptation for CHRIST.
Mat 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?
If CHRIST had thought about it; Believed John; Trusted in his Judgment; used HIS own discretion; if HE had logically concluded that since HE had never sinned HE really had no need of John’s Baptism HE would have been in disobedience to HIS FATHER’S Will. HE may have missed a link in the chain of Events in the Mosaic Law that HE was sent to Eventualize. But external thoughts were of no interest to CHRIST, HE was Obedient to HIS FATHER’S Will in every respect and in every aspect and in so doing drew John out of the Way of error as well.
Mat 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
The immediate response of the FATHER is now Biblical History. The SPIRIT of GOD, came down from Heaven, Lighted on CHRIST (Anointing HIM) and GOD spoke of HIS pleasure in HIS SON. HE was well pleased.
Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
CHRIST had stipulated to John the Baptist, they had to Fulfill all Righteousness, implying the need for complete Obedience to the Will of GOD and all of the Works of the Covenants and all of the Carnal Ordinances in the Mosaic Law, so that HE could Perfectly Fulfill the whole Law from beginning to end.
See >> CHRIST – THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW <<
Luk 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
See the >> PERSON OF CHRIST <<
Ministry of CHRIST – Obedience
CHRIST taught the Principles, Precepts and Tenets of the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD/Heaven and the importance of Obedience as the Love of GOD. CHRIST, HIS Disciples and Apostles taught the Love of GOD was to keep GOD’S Commandments.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
It was made known to Mankind for the Obedience of Faith, and that all might Believe its Doctrines and Obey its Precepts; its Universal Call requiring Repentance towards GOD; Faith in our Lord JESUS CHRIST; the circumcision of the heart in the place of Carnal Ordinances; Jewish Rites and Ceremonies of the Mosaic Law which was a Shadow of things to come; a Figure; and an Emblematic Pointer to CHRIST and the New Spiritual Dispensation.
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Col 2:17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
GOD’S Divine Will – The Perfect Obedience of CHRIST
Eph 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
In Obedience to GOD, CHRIST initiated the Fulfillment of the Eternal Purpose GOD had Purposed in HIM by Fulfilling the Law of Moses. See >> GOD & CHRIST IN THE COVENANTS <<; to initiate the Eventualization of the Mosaic Dispensation, nailing the carnal Ordinances to HIS Cross and initiated the New Spiritual Dispensation that would Effect the inner Man through the Efficacious Regeneration by the HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT.
Joh 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
GOD’S Divine Will – Eternal Purpose In CHRIST
Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
CHRIST Obeyed HIS FATHER Perfectly even though HE knew all that was going to happen. HE knew about the HIS humiliation, torture, mock trial, HIS Crucifixion and HIS death.
It was the FATHER’S Will, based on HIS Eternal Counsels and Eternal Purposes as Sovereign GOD, for CHRIST to descend to Earth to finish the Works of GOD which included HIS Incarnation; HIS Birth; HIS Ministry; to Live a Perfect sinless Life; “to lay down HIS Life”, to die as a Perfect Sacrifice, to appease Divine Justice as the means of Redemption, Effectual Grace and Salvation for Mankind and to Resurrect, “to take HIS Life up again”, to be of the FirstFruits of Regenerate Mankind; to shed the Gift of the HOLY GHOST/HOLY SPIRIT into the World via HIS Apostles and Disciples; to Empower and Embolden HIS Apostles and Disciples enduing them with Power to Evangelize the World with the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD/Heaven.
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
Joh 10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
GOD’S Divine Will – The Will of CHRIST
Joh 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
CHRIST teaches that Man’s greatest Joy is Realized in Man when he Aligns his Will with the Will of GOD. Spiritual Man is Empowered through the washing of Regeneration and the Renewal of the HOLY GHOST/HOLY SPIRIT and HIS indwelling in Man. Mankind, being Spiritually converted, is enabled to follow the Commandments of GOD and the Teaching and Dictates of CHRIST; Becoming HIS Disciple to Live in Obedience to GOD; to Believe HIS Word and the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD/Heaven which is Blessedness through the upward Progression towards GOD and following GOD’S Will. See >> BECOMING A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST <<.
Luk 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Tit 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
See – >> THE HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT <<
Mar 1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
One of the most difficult times CHRIST had to experience was the night of HIS mock Trial before the mock Jewish Sanhedrin court. HE was treated as a criminal although all knew HE was innocent. HE underwent the humiliation, the scourging and the interrogation of Pilate and solicitation of King Herod and finally HIS sentencing and the Crucifixion and HIS death. But even at this point, although HE prayed if another possible Way could be found to accomplish HIS Will, but HE appended HIS Prayer and HIS Petition with not HIS Will but the FATHER’S Will should be done; at this point HE was still completely Obedient to HIS FATHER’S Will and in the end HE Prayed “Thy Will Be Done”. HE needed strength for what was coming. HE was completely aware of HIS immediate future.
Mat 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Mar 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
Luk 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
Mat 26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
